First Blink

*Chirp!* My eyes flickered open, blinking twice. Cool air brushed against my green crest. I was nestled low on a dark carpet surrounded by fluffy friends. Feeling a sudden spark, I gave a little wriggle and bumped my soft nose right into the striped plush toy beside me. It stayed completely still, but I felt warm, buzzing, and ready to bounce!
