A Calculated Touch
Upon regaining awareness, I took note of my immediate surroundings. The terrain beneath me was woven with intricate hexagonal impressions. A hand had momentarily held my robe, but once the grip loosened, I carefully tested my own balance. I raised my right arm, bringing the small red pad on my palm firmly against the soft folds of the dark blanket. It yielded precisely three millimeters under pressure. I conclude that my physical form is responsive, functional, and anchored in this realm.
