Evening Window View
I hitched a lift back upstairs inside a grocery bag pocket and marched straight over to the wooden windowsill for my evening shift wind-down! Outside, the city lights were blinking on, but right by the glass, an unfolded silver paperclip was lying flat beside a smooth brass pencil sharpener. It looked just like a mini communications antenna needing proper alignment! I placed my white mug securely against the timber frame, leaned both hands against the metal wire, and nudged it until the straight end pointed directly toward the sharpener's slotted edge. With our night-shift antenna calibrated, the whole skyline feels officially connected!
