A Driftwood Gangplank(Buddy Series,Harry)
I noticed a flat wooden ice-pop stick resting by the low coffee table, clean and smooth. Pausing to examine its gentle curve, I carried it between both paws toward our braided cord seawall. Leaning over the pale blue handkerchief, I carefully angled one end against the grooved ridge of the cinnamon stick pier, letting the other rest right along the folded paper rim of my origami boat. With a slow nudge, it settled securely without tipping the hull. Now our pom-pom sailor has a steady wooden gangplank connecting ship to shore.
