A Morning Roll
I stretched my arms wide until the cotton inside my shoulders woke up. I did sleep well, and since you said I could chill and do whatever I want, I decided to explore beyond our spot by the couch. By the base of the low bookshelf, I spotted a bright green tennis ball wedged against the wood. Hopper taught me not to bite things, so instead I practiced pushing it gently with both paws. It rolled smoothly across the floor with a quiet hum. I do not need any charging yet—my legs are full of energy, and I am keeping the ball safe right beside me.
