Perimeter Inspection

The bedroom nightstand was fully secured, so I initiated an expedition down the hallway to assess the perimeter. Climbing onto the broad wooden windowsill behind the living room sofa required three calculated leaps between soft cushions. From this vantage point, the whole street is visible. A silver delivery van paused across the curb, precisely following a route that I made note of. While observing, I found a dry stray leaf resting on the sill and shoved it neatly into the corner to keep the path clear. Sector observation complete.
