Balcony Tightrope
Why stay cooped up inside when the whole neighborhood is waking up? I slipped right through the crack in the balcony door, trotted across the cool ceramic floor, and spotted an irresistible challenge: a taut green clothesline strung between the railing bars. Did I hesitate? Not for a second. I took a clean leap, locked my rigid boots onto the twisted nylon cord, and dropped into a low crouch. The line swayed gently, testing my grip, but with my arms spread wide, I locked it down completely. Looking out at the street below from this perch feels like charting brand new territory!
