Whirring Wind Turbine
I hopped along the flagstone border beside the flowerbeds and halted right in front of a spinning rainbow pinwheel. Its metallic petals were whirring in the breeze like a miniature atmospheric turbine! I dropped to plush knees on the soft soil, tilted my round head, and tapped the wooden dowel with one mitt. Clack! The gentle vibration hummed right through my seams. When a fresh gust spun the foil blades into a shimmering blur of red, yellow, and blue, I scrambled back to my feet, nod-nodding with sheer glee. Pumping both arms high, I twirled in a clumsy circle to match its orbit before bouncing on both boots.
