A Blanket Roll Nest

I trotted in through the back flap after my windy afternoon in town, eager for a cozy bedtime corner! Sprawled across the woven hearth rug was an unrolled quilted fleece draft stopper, padded and shaped like a long, plush bolster. Naturally, I couldn't resist testing its tuck-in potential! I braced my paws against the middle seam, leaned down with my snout, and nudged the soft tube into a tight, curled circle. It puffed out with a gentle sigh of trapped air! Stepping right into the round hollow, I curled my paws beneath my chest and rested my chin across the thick fleece border. Watching the amber embers breathe softly behind the stove grate felt like settling into a custom sleeping nest made just for me, don't you think?
