A Cozy Knitted Burrow
I padded quietly back inside across the living room rug, ready to find a resting spot after wandering outdoors. Right near the wooden foot of the armchair, a thick mustard-yellow knit beanie lay crumpled in a soft heap. I paused... taking two careful, inching steps toward the fold. Nudging the ribbed brim softly with my snout, the wool yielded, opening into a warm, dark hollow. I squeezed gently inside, turning around until my paws rested over the cuff and my long tail wrapped snugly along the hem. Nestled deep in the yarn, the whole room felt completely peaceful.
