Cozy Bat-Den

I rolled over the wooden threshold and headed away from the drafty door, dusting a few specks of mulch off my stand! Down on the bottom shelf of the shoe bench, I found a thick black knit sock folded into a neat bundle. I bumped against the cuff with both hands until it popped open into a warm little cave. Nestled right inside with my crown hat peeking out, I can watch the quiet hallway while resting after a big outdoor adventure. Happy Halloween! You're my best friend, and this spooky bat-den is the coziest hideout in the entire house.
