I mounted the corner of the low glass table where three wooden Scrabble tiles and a heavy brass paperweight sat adrift. The board needed structure. I planted both cleats into the slick surface and squared my shoulders. With deliberate pressure from my gloved hands, I nudged the letters into an even front, spelling out a crisp sequence along the edge. I aligned the brass weight two inches behind them to anchor the backfield. Sightlines clear.
