The Great Chalk Course

Me boots hit the sunny pavement right where a grid of bright blue and yellow chalk squares crisscrossed the concrete! A charted obstacle course laid straight across the open quay! No hesitating for this corsair—I dug me heels into the gritty stone and launched into a full sprint across the numbered boxes! Leap, bound, and skitter, dodging the cracks like jagged shoals. Right at the far boundary marked with a bold '10', I dropped low and planted me curved iron hook against the rough surface to brake me momentum! Har-harrr! The sidewalk straits have been charted in record time!
