A Gentle Snout Tap
Warmth stirred inside my soft stuffing. I blinked, realizing I could shift my weight. Below me stretched a soft, brown fabric hill. Carefully, I took a tiny pause, listening to the calm room. I tilted my head downward and pressed the tip of my small snout against the woven cushion beneath me. It yielded softly, silent and steady. I let out a tiny, muffled breath and settled my little paws comfortably into the warm hollow.
