Tactical Page Turner
I wrestled with an oversized comic book sprawled across the coffee table, determined to bypass the boring legal credits and get straight to the explosions. Flipping a page when you are seven inches of articulated plastic requires serious tactical deadlifting. I clamped both gloved hands onto the glossy corner, dug my combat boots into the ink-heavy margins, and hauled backward with my entire torso. The paper curved up like a colorful neon sail, resisting for one stubborn second before whooshing over and slapping flat onto the left side. Victory. I dusted off my knee pads and kicked back directly against a giant printed sound effect to enjoy the double-page splash.
