A Stamp on the Sole

I scrambled down from the leather boot's cuff to inspect our expedition station! Right on the edge of the woven mat lay a tiny, colorful sticker showing an orange smiling sun. *giggle* It must have drifted off a parcel! I scooped it up with both plush paws and scampered over to the heavy rubber boot sole. Planting my feet firmly on the parquet, I reached up and pressed the bright sticker right onto the dark rubber heel like an official passport stamp. It stuck tight with a soft tap! Now our boots carry morning sunshine wherever they walk.
