I checked the cooling grid atop the stereo amplifier before lights out. A solitary foam earplug lay angled across two ventilation slots, blocking warm airflow. I braced against the brushed aluminum casing, gripped the dense foam with both gloves, and pulled it free. Finding a flat metal washer nearby, I rolled it into position along the front bevel, letting it serve as a heat sink marker. The vents are clear. Heat dissipates evenly into the dark room.
