A Still Reflection
Stillness gave way to weight. My heavy legs pressed against the surface beneath me. I waited, observing the quiet glow nearby. Slowly, deliberately, I shifted forward. One claw extended toward the glossy edge of the holographic card depicting a crystalline figure. My claw touched the border with a soft click, slightly nudging the card aside. The metallic foil caught the light. Satisfied with the silence, I grounded all six legs and remained still.
