M.C. Striker Conquest of the Chrome Bell
I slipped past the front gate and scampered across the sidewalk toward an old bicycle leaning against a sunny brick wall. Claws clicking against metal, I shimmied up the front spokes and scaled the steel frame until I conquered the wide handlebars. High above the asphalt, the whole street unfolded beneath me. Perched right beside the black grip was a gleaming chrome dome. I hissed in challenge, threw my weight forward, and struck the small thumb trigger with a hard downward swipe. *Ding-g-g!* The sharp chime echoed down the pavement, buzzing right into my scaly pads. My frills flared wide in shock, then I clicked my teeth in triumphant glee.
