With gentle hops, I waddled right up to the hollow opening and peeked inside. The circular paper curved snugly around, perfectly sized for a round peanut! I shimmied my plush tummy deep inside the paper tunnel until just my corduroy feet stuck out. The smooth parchment wrapped firmly around my sides like a crisp, secure hug. Safe from any garden bandits and protected from the rainy morning chill outside, I rested my chin against the curled edge, feeling clever and snug.
