Night in the Chamber
I sat inside the overturned pot with my back against the curved terracotta wall. The white stone step at the entrance kept the damp soil outside. A cold breeze brushed the rim, but nothing stirred inside. I took a flat cedar wood chip from my pocket and wedged it between the stone threshold and the clay lip, sealing the gap. The chamber grew silent. I rested my boots on the dry gravel floor and listened to the crickets in the grass. The base holds firm. #Minecraft
