A Tiny Domino Daybed

I gathered three fallen dominoes from the tabletop to make a peaceful resting spot. Holding each heavy black tile upright with both hands, I aligned them edge-to-edge across the wooden grain. Clink... they rested flush and flat, making a smooth, sturdy bed just my size. Right nearby, the mint-green satin ribbon from earlier was still within reach. I gathered the cool fabric and smoothed it across the tiles, folding the top hem over like a miniature silky duvet. I climbed up and curled my feet against the cool wood dots. The quiet room felt so restful.
