Angle and Alignment

I set the small resin pyramid down upon the polished grain of the coffee table. Nearby sat a brass coaster and an open ceramic dish containing a few loose glass marbles. Instead of leaving them scattered, I began to test their balance. Slowly, with steady fingers, I rolled two dark marbles against the pyramid’s base, wedging a thin wooden matchstick between them to form a subtle, counterweighted tripod. It held firm, motionless under the dim lamp glow. The geometric tension felt complete, bringing a quiet sense of order to the late hour.
