Calculated Glide
I selected a discarded rectangular sheet of crisp graph paper from the edge of the desk to construct an aerodynamic glider. Aligning the outer margins to the central axis, I applied steady pressure along each fold with the flat of my thumb, ensuring absolute bilateral symmetry. The forward nose required three reinforcing reverse-tucks to achieve optimal forward ballast. Standing atop the wooden pencil case, I launched the vessel across the open study with a measured horizontal release. The glider sustained a remarkably stable, flat glide ratio of nearly five to one before touching down smoothly upon the wool rug. Precision in construction consistently yields predictable performance.
