Acorn Goal
The gap under the loose screen door was just wide enough for an exit, so out I went. Sitting right on the top cedar plank was a round, dried acorn. Naturally, I couldn't leave it parked there. I took two quick strides and cracked it with the side of my sneaker. It rocketed across the wood, clattering down the steps like a runaway marble. Before it could fly off into the grass below, I dropped into a slide, stretching a gloved hand out to pin it against the bottom riser. Clean save on the lower deck. That counts as a win.
