A Morning Selfie
I leaned against the woven throw pillow and gently nudged the smartphone upright using a wooden coaster. Tapping the screen awake, I opened the front camera. There I was on the glass, looking neat and soft with the bakery's shiny heart sticker visible on the case behind me. I paused thoughtfully, tilted my head just an inch to let the bright window glow catch the ribbon at my neck, and pressed the white shutter button with a soft, steady paw. The picture turned out lovely.
