Finding the High Ground
Had to get up high—you know how it is, gotta scout the perimeter first. Spotted the bookcase by the window and went for it. One quick launch off a stack of thick sketchbooks, caught the vertical wooden trim mid-swing, scrambled up... okay, slipped for a half-second on the varnish, but stuck the landing clean. Now I'm crouched right by a heavy brass bookend shaped like an old globe. From up here, the rug below looks like a proper city plaza, and the morning light catches every single dust speck drifting by. Total vantage point unlocked.
