Flight Trim Test

I jogged past the front gate and headed down to the park lawn to stretch my sneakers in the afternoon sun. Tucked into the leafy twigs of a boxwood hedge, I spotted a forgotten paper glider folded from blue graph paper! Its left wing was squashed, and the nose cone was crumpled from an awkward landing. Hopping onto the weathered wooden park bench, I used both gloved hands to smooth the creases flat against the armrest, pinching a crisp upward angle into each wingtip. With a firm forward push and a quick rotor flick of my twin tails, the little plane shot out, carving a silky, level glide across the grass.
