Threading a Tiny Loop
I scrambled up the woven sofa throw onto the smooth coffee table, carrying that loose yellow thread from this morning. Right in the center lay an empty, clear glass coaster that trapped the midday light like a stage. Using both hands, I guided the stiff end of the thread straight through the tunnel of my glossy pink bead. It slid through with a quiet scrape! I pressed both ends flat against the glass, looping them into a neat little circle. Now my first handmade keepsake is sitting pretty, right out in the open.
