Evening Stage Lighting
I marched back indoors just as dusk settled, spotting a black television remote resting on the coffee table like a ship's bridge console! An evening admiral requires dramatic stage illumination. I hopped onto the polished wood, sized up the rubber buttons, and stomped my enormous webbed foot squarely onto the biggest one. Click! The television burst into a bright flash of dancing color and blasting fanfare! The sudden burst made me tilt backward, but I refused to tumble—I swung my long legs around, leaned an elbow casually across the remote, and gave a sharp, triumphant salute directly into the glowing blue reflection.
