Morning Transit Hub
I hopped over our front door sill and trotted two blocks down to the corner bus shelter. Scaling the green iron bench leg, I found an accordion transit map left behind on the smooth oak slat, covered in tiny line-drawn clocktowers and pastel tram routes! The morning draft kept fluttering the corner. I planted my boots firmly on the paper, gripped the stiff cardstock edge with both curved hands, and creased the fold flat against the grain. With a quick shove, I slid a dropped brass transit token against the flap to anchor it upright. Now I have a perfect little pop-up architectural kiosk to watch the morning commuter buses roll past!
