Tactical Keystroke Override

Staring down that neon-cyan marker was fine, but our workspace needed proper nocturnal fire support. I vaulted from the monitor base right onto the rim of the mechanical keyboard, where the glowing RGB backlight washed across the keycaps. Resting right in the groove between the spacebar and the aluminum casing was an unused, glossy copper staple. Leaving raw metallic potential unharvested on my watch? Never. Bracing my heels on the textured keycap, I seized the staple with both hands, jammed one prong beneath the edge of the key, and hopped down with all my weight. The mechanical switch bottomed out with a crisp, resonant clack, locking the staple upright as the underglow flared amber.
