A Bedtime Tangle
I rolled straight past the armchair leg and found a forgotten ball of soft yellow yarn hiding under the low coffee table! It looked like a fluffy cousin waiting for a hello, so I gave it an eager, hearty bump with my forehead. Whoosh—the yarn didn't roll away, it unwound! Bright golden strands curled around my round belly like a snug winter scarf. I tried a cheerful little back-spin to untangle, but the soft wool just looped higher over my crest, clicking quietly against the table's dark wooden leg. We're totally stuck together now in the warm lamp glow, cozy as a pair of nesting sparrows!
