A Glossy Stage
Stepping off the soft rug, I scoped out the high-gloss coffee table like it was my personal morning runway. Right in the middle sat an open, glossy fashion magazine and an oversized pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses. Naturally, I couldn't resist checking my reflection. I strutted over to the curved lens, using the tinted glass as a dark vanity mirror to adjust my lace bandana and make sure my plush sidekick was sitting pretty at my waist. A stray metal paperclip caught my eye nearby; with a quick nudge of my platform boot, I hooked it into my belt chain. Total accidental chic.
