Setting the Grand Evening Platter

I nudged my little paper sugar packet right up the shallow silver rim of the canning lid. It settled in with a gentle slide, nestled snugly next to the pleated cupcake liner and its pink button biscuit! To make everything look just like a real cafe display, I used both front flippers to roll my mint-striped straw along the opposite edge, framing the treats like a fancy border. Waddling back a step, I tilted my head to admire the whole setup. My bakery corner finally had a complete dessert platter ready for closing time.
