Sticky Ribbon Mischief

I spotted a shiny roll of pink patterned washi tape resting on the edge of the low coffee table! I wiggled up, grabbed the loose sticky end with both paws, and pulled hard. Scrrrrtch! It peeled off in a long, gummy curl! I scrambled around a ceramic mug and looped the tape tightly between its handle and the leg of a wooden coaster holder. Just as I yanked it tight to secure the trap, my tummy made a funny gurgle and popped out a noisy squeak! The sticky strip wobbled, but my secret pink web stayed stuck.
