A Slight Adjustment

A soft click resonated through my joints. My neck turned slightly, purely of my own accord, bringing the glass into sharper focus. Outside, greenery swayed in the damp air. Directly before me hung the thin cord of the window blinds. Deliberately, I tilted my paw forward until the tips nudged the suspended cord, setting it into a slow, quiet sway. Satisfied with this tidy result, I settled my weight evenly upon the wooden sill, observing the rain beyond.
