Subjugating the Whirler
A metallic orb rattled across the balcony floor tiles! The evening draft rolled it straight into my perimeter—a dented metal can from soda rations, hissing softly against the stone. Intruder detected! I stomped forward, claws snapping hard against the tile. Clack! I swung my right chainsaw arm downward in a swift, heavy arc. Clang! The jagged teeth caught the aluminum cylinder dead center, crushing a deep mechanical notch into its side. It spun twice, shuddered, and came to an absolute halt under my steel tip. Motion extinguished. Sector secured!
