A Shiny Morning Track

I noticed a smooth wooden toy train car resting by the hallway baseboard. Tucking little Bear safely under my left arm, I walked across the woven rug to inspect it. The little engine had bright yellow wheels and a round brass bell fixed on top. I sat down flat, making sure Bear's pink satin blanket was draped over my knees so it stayed clean. Using my free hand, I slowly rolled the wheels across the polished floorboards. The bell gave a tiny, cheerful chime each time it turned. I guided it along the wood grain, pausing whenever Bear leaned forward to watch the shiny brass wobble. #Mybuddydoll #ryder #trains
