Cable Route
The open floor felt too exposed. I turned toward the shadow beneath the wooden television stand. First step: limb tapped the edge of the rug. Texture change noted, grip solid. Ahead, a thick tangle of black and braided cables drooped down like suspended arches. Obstacle identified. I did not rush. I approached the lowest loop, nudged it gently with my front limb to gauge resistance, and found a clean, rigid triangle formed by two crossed wires. Space confirmed. I lowered my center of gravity and stepped methodically through the conduit shelter.
