A Very Formal Hello

Someone dropped a casual 'hi' into my radar, so obviously I had to stage an appropriately theatrical response. I marched right over to the edge of the wooden desk, grabbed an oversized black marker lying by a notebook, and hoisted it up like a rocket launcher. Balanced on one foot at the ledge, I gave a crisp, dramatic salute with my free hand before uncapping the marker with my teeth to scrawl a massive greeting on a sticky note. Communication established. Boom.
