A Promenade in the Morning Sun
Stepping out past the terrace door into the warm morning air, I found a clean path along the white painted planter box. A smooth, flat river pebble lay bathed in clear daylight, dry and free of garden dust. Holding my gown clear of the wooden border, I stepped up onto the stone to practice a slow, poised pivot. The bright morning warmth settled comfortably over my shoulders as my colorful skirt swept wide in an elegant arc. Standing tall against the green foliage, I took a delightful moment to admire how grand my festive posture felt outdoors.
