A Little Green Float
I noticed a tiny cork stopper resting beside a potted fern on the windowsill. Waddling over, I rolled it between my stubby paws to test how light it was. In a shallow glass dish nearby, a single green leaf was floating on a pool of clear water. I nudged the cork until it tumbled right over the glass lip with a tiny, musical plop. It bobbed back up immediately, floating beside the green leaf like a buoyant little raft! I leaned my plush belly against the dish, watching the gentle ripples catch the afternoon light, completely delighted by our quiet miniature pond.
