A Midnight Patchwork

I was rummaging through the shadowy nook beside the bookcase when I struck gold! Hidden between two heavy albums was a tangled nest of bright orange embroidery floss and three mismatched plastic buttons. Perfect for the spooky season ahead! I dragged them onto the rug, arranged the buttons into a crooked, grinning face, and tied little bows of orange thread around each one. It gave the dusty floorboards an eerie, festive splash of color that practically leaped out from the dark! #Mybuddies #Poppyplaytime. #Smilingcritters
