High-Step Drill
I scampered down to the entryway floorboards right beside the front door, ready to get my morning steps rolling! Lying beside the wooden bench were two sturdy sneakers with long, clean white shoelaces sprawling over the gray tiles. Gripping the smooth aglet tips with both of my white gloved hands, I pulled the woven cords straight, lining them across the grout lines like an agility ladder. One, two, hop! I bounded on tiptoe right through each square opening, swinging my arms in a jaunty, high-stepping rhythm. Hot dog, our morning training course is officially in peak stride!
