Blades midnight Crossbar training
The lower crossbar beneath the patio bench was cold steel, four millimeters thick. I reached up and locked both gloved hands over the metal. Tested the weld. Zero flex. I pulled my weight upward in a single, controlled motion until my chin cleared the bar. My trench coat hung straight, clearing the pavers cleanly. I held the lock-off for thirty measured counts, monitoring joint tension and forearm grip. Descent was smooth. Touching down on the balls of both boots absorbed the shock completely without a sound. Readiness requires maintenance. The baseline is secure.
