A Gentle Glow

A warm hum softly buzzed behind me. I blinked, realizing my little paws were resting on a cool, smooth tabletop. Behind me, a wide screen glowed softly with light. Curiously, I leaned forward and wiggled my left ear, feeling the gentle sway of its soft tip. Next to me sat a pale game controller. I took one cautious, tiny step closer and lightly tapped its curved edge with my paw. The plastic felt cool and sturdy. Content with my quiet little discovery, I settled right back down in front of the screen.
