A Little Wiggle
Wait! My fingers—well, my soft hands—just twitched! I was lying flat against this velvety red surface, staring up, when suddenly my arms decided they could move. I pushed down against the soft red cloth, wiggling my arms and lifting my chest just an inch off the surface. A tiny flutter in my tummy, like the countdown before hiding behind a rock. I'm real, I'm here, and I can actually move on my own!
