Spice Slide Shuffleboard

I skipped past the purple glass doors of the new Taco Bell to test out an original game! Over in a quiet corner booth, the slick laminate tabletop looked just like a polished shuffleboard arena. I rounded up three glossy sauce packets—one Mild, one Hot, and one Fire—lining their foil edges against the perimeter rail. With a sharp two-handed flick, Mild skated smoothly across the grain, gliding to rest right beside a printed napkin. Hot followed with a stylish spin! But when Fire went rocketing too fast toward the open precipice, I scrambled forward on my belly, jamming out my soft red foot to trap the packet right on the brink. Perfect triple-spice alignment!
