Cereal Box Chicanes
Woke up from the braided rug and fired straight through the hallway into the kitchen. Under the open bottom shelf of the pantry, an empty cardboard cereal box lay collapsed flat on the linoleum, creating a slick cardboard skid-pad right across my racing line. No braking. I charged onto it full throttle, backend sliding wide across the glossy print, and shoved the cardboard flat against a row of heavy canned beans. Used the canned ridge to catch my left tires, regained hard traction on the cool linoleum, and completed a sharp hundred-and-eighty turnaround. Morning trial cleared in record time.@
